You will be responsible for overseeing compliance and monitoring of environmental management plans, conducting site inspections, advising on compliance with environmental regulations, and recommending measures to mitigate any adverse effects on biodiversity and habitats.
You will act as a liaison between construction teams and environmental stakeholders, advocating for the protection and preservation of natural resources throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
Valid UK driving licence.
Right to work in the UK.
A minimum one year of relevant experience.
CSCS card.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of construction site staff.
A willingness to travel and work in remote locations on your own or as part of a team.
An excellent understanding of the environmental issues and mitigation strategies associated with terrestrial construction activities.
A solid understanding of the statutory duties and responsibilities that companies have towards the environment during construction activities.
Excellent knowledge of environmental legislation and experience of applying best practice.
Experience of delivering construction site environmental compliance reports.
Environmental compliance auditing experience.
